It’s a typical Monday, and Intashan Chowdhury is deep in the whirlwind of public service. Before his first sip of coffee or bite of lunch, he’s resolving tech issues, inspecting a burst water pipe, debating street sign colors, and discussing youth basketball and traffic concerns.
Despite the chaos, he thrives under pressure. “I didn’t expect to juggle this many things at once,” he admits. In his first two weeks as Prospect Park’s administrator, the learning curve has been steep—but he’s embracing the challenge.
By the time his lunch arrives at 1:15 p.m., it sits untouched for 30 minutes—overshadowed by constant meetings, calls, and community needs. Chowdhury may be young, but his commitment to the borough is anything but immature.
