Intashan Chowdhury has been appointed Executive Director of the Municipal Innovation Summit, a nonprofit devoted to advancing best practices in local government.
Already known as New Jersey’s youngest-ever municipal business administrator, Chowdhury’s new role signals a rejuvenation for the Summit, which faced setbacks during the pandemic. The organization was founded by veteran Ken DeRoberts and is now supported by a leadership team including Spring Lake Mayor Jennifer Naughton, Summit Council President Lisa Allen, and Centenary University President Dale Caldwell.
With Chowdhury at the helm, the Summit aims to drive innovation and collaboration across municipalities big and small.
